Engaging citizens in the exploration and development of possibilities for public policy.
As part of the ongoing development of our discussion processes, our Project Director, Jack Byrd, has undertaken the preparation of three Guidebooks that provide practical guidance and guidelines for facilitating citizen discussions.  The first of these guidebooks focuses on the IF Discussion Process as used in our discussion projects and was published in August 2005.  The second guidebook focuses on facilitating small group citizen discussions as the first step in the Public Discussion phase of our projects and was published in June 2007.  The third guidebook will focus on facilitating classroom discussion and incorporate many of the insights we have gained from our faculty and curriculum development activities.

You may download a copy of the completed reports by clicking on their titles below or request that we send you a printed copy by completing and submitting the form on our Printed Copies page
