Nneka Edwards earned both her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in business administration.In the years since her graduations, her professional career has been eclectic. Her business education and research skills allowed her to work as Background Investigator, Accounts Coordinator, Property Assessor, and an Assistant Manager for a large bank. She has received numerous verbal and written accolades for her performance throughout her professional career.

Since Nneka began working with IF in the fall of 2012, she has worked on several projects with Suzanne Goodney-Lea to broaden IF’s impact on educational instruction in the realm of college access programming and on the collegiate level. In addition, Nneka leads public discussions of IF discussion guides with a diverse group of citizens in the Baltimore, MD area.

Nneka lives in suburban Maryland with her loving husband and two active children. She is active in a variety of civic and cultural organizations like Florida A&M University Alumni Association, Mocha Moms, and Girl Scouts of America. Outside of pursuing her professional interests she likes to exercise, read, travel, dance, and spend time with her wonderful friends and family.
