This project will be devoted to developing possibilities to address human activities that impact global climate. Boyer has spent the last three years as a collaborative partner in online discussions of the outcomes of various international conferences on climate change. He has also facilitated local developmental discussions of policy ideas that emerged from this online dialogue, concentrating on the framing of non-ideological language that attempts to separate potential policy directions from partisan agendas and arguments over science. This IF project discussion on Human Impacts on Climate will go beyond this foundational work and engage in a full-scaled project discussion, with panelists further exploring the area of concern and an international group in Mazatlan, Mexico providing additional feedback.
