It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jennifer Erb, our Vice President of Finance & Operations, who dedicated over 35 years of her life to the Interactivity Foundation.
Jennifer was much more than her title. She was the heart and soul of the Interactivity Foundation—a steady presence who connected with everyone she met with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. Her deep knowledge, tireless dedication, and calming, can-do spirit carried us through countless trials and triumphs over the years.
Our thoughts are with Michael, her family, and everyone who was fortunate enough to know Jennifer. Her presence will be missed beyond what words can express.

Jennifer Erb was the Vice President of Finance & Operations for the Interactivity Foundation. Jennifer joined IF in 1989, hired by Jay Stern as a part-time co-op while still in high school. She served IF in many capacities over the years and rose to become a team leader. She managed IF’s endowment, supervised internal operations and financial transactions, and oversaw the Parkersburg Office. She served on the Finance, Investment, and Budget Committees. She was also a member of the Intellectual Development Committee, IF’s internal governance team. Jennifer was the Secretary and Assistant Treasurer of the IF Board of Trustees. She was the longest standing team member and keeper of IF’s institutional memory.
Jennifer had three children, Celeste, Alex, and Willow, as well as a very precocious grandson, Drake. She was married to Michael, a reformed reporter. Jennifer was registrar for the local youth soccer association for 20ish years. She kept busy in her personal time rooting for the Ohio Valley All-Star Cheerleaders where her son coaches and her grandson cheers. She and her husband collected Fiestaware and mid-century modern decor as well as tabletop board games, role playing games, and anything Dungeon and Dragons related.
