There is a significant and growing number of other organizations and ongoing activities concerned with democratic dialogue, public deliberation and discussion, and civic engagement.  While the specific discussion processes and objectives for most of other organizations differ in some ways from IF’s approach to facilitated, small-group discussion, we all share a broad commitment to strengthening our democracy through discussion, active citizenship, and participation by all people.
